The event combined the 14th Annual Meeting of the International Surgical Sleep Society (ISSS) with the 12th Annual Conference of the Indian Association of Surgeons for Sleep Apnoea (IASSACON), held from 20 to 22 February 2026 at JW Marriott Sahar, Mumbai. Roshan Rayen served as a Faculty member at the Sleep Summit 2026, organised by the Indian Medical Association Academy of Medical Specialities (IMA AMS), Tamil Nadu State Branch, in collaboration with the South East Asian Academy of Sleep Medicine (SEAASM), Tamil Nadu, on March 15, 2026

Saveetha Dental College - Dr. Roshan Rayen
Sharing his expertise in pediatric dental sedation, Dr Roshan Rayen delivered a keynote lecture titled “Submucosal Sedation Techniques: Enhancing Comfort and Cooperation in Paediatric Dental Care” at the 2nd International Conference on Dental Sedation and Anaesthesia, held on 10 and 11 April 2026 at Saveetha Dental College, Chennai. Organised by the South Asian Association of Pediatric Dentistry ,the conference provided a platform for advancing knowledge and clinical practice in dental sedation. His lecture explored the role of submucosal sedation in improving children’s comfort and cooperation during dental procedures, highlighting the importance of appropriate sedation techniques in delivering a positive and safe dental experience.
Saveetha Dental College - Dr. Roshan Rayen
Bringing clinical insight to an important conversation in dental sedation, Dr Roshan Rayen participated in the panel discussion “Clinical Decision Pathways: Selecting the Right Sedation Approach for Dental Treatments” at the 2nd International Conference on Dental Sedation and Anaesthesia, held at Saveetha Dental College, Chennai, on 10–11 April 2026. Pondicherry Institude - Dr. Roshan Rayen
Roshan Rayen conducted a one-day workshop titled “Optimising Patient Comfort with Conscious Sedation in Dentistry” at the Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), a unit of The Madras Medical Mission, on April 17, 2026.
The workshop focused on the principles and clinical applications of conscious sedation in dentistry, emphasising patient comfort, safety, and effective behaviour management.

Extending his contribution beyond dentistry into the field of sleep medicine, Dr Roshan Rayen participated as Faculty at SLEEPCON 2026, held at The Ashok Hotel, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. The workshop took place on 26 June, organised by the Indian Society for Dental Anaesthesia (ISDA) and the Department of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital. His involvement reflects the growing importance of collaboration between dentistry and sleep medicine, particularly in understanding the relationship between oral health, airway function and sleep-related concerns. 9th International World Dental & Oral Health Congress
